NA380A-R is the most high desity of PCI-e(Host) to SAS/SATA 3/6 Gbps(Disk) 4U-24 bay storage product line from Netstor. It's not only an external storage capacity expansion for up to 48TB(installed 2TB HDD) but also features up to PCI-Express slots expander to solve the PCI-e slot shortage problem in server or workstation while you want to expand the big sotrage capacity as well as the PCI-e slots.

The chassis pacakge is including a PCI-Express host adaptor and an external PCI-e 8x cable for you to convert and connect the host system internal PCI-E slot becoming external port into NA380A-R and it's designed to provide up to Seven(7) PCI-e slots for plugging any standard SAS/SATA PCI-e Raid card to configue the NA380A-R to be Raid Subsystem and any PCI-e add-on card while PCI-e slot is shortage in the existing server or workstation. It means NA380A-R only requests a PCI-e slot from host server but provides a mass stoage capacity and 7 more PCI-e slots to customer.
